Base pay range

Position: Evening Room Attendant

Shift Patterns:

• 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
• 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM Shifts will be assigned based on operational needs. Flexibility, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
  
  

What will I be doing?

The Room Attendant plays a key role in ensuring guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. They will also assist with guest requests and contribute to a seamless, five-star guest experience.

• Clean and service all allocated guest rooms to the required standards, including bed-making, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
• Attend daily briefings and participate in training sessions as required.
• Remain alert to health and safety hazards and report any concerns immediately.
• Report any missing or damaged items in guest rooms (e.g., bathrobes, toiletries, or fixtures).
• Handle lost and found items in accordance with the hotel’s procedures.
• Promptly report any maintenance issues to the relevant department.
• Complete any additional cleaning duties as assigned by your supervisor.
• Inform your supervisor of any rooms not requiring service or displaying a “Do Not Disturb” sign.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members as needed.
• Ensure that your designated corridor and pantry areas are clean and well-stocked before the end of your shift.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of all assigned areas, including corridors, storage rooms, staff facilities, management offices, and ancillary spaces, in line with hotel standards.
  
  

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in housekeeping, ideally within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment
• Confidence and professionalism when engaging with high-profile or VIP guests
• A keen eye for detail and consistently high standards of presentation
• Clear and confident spoken English
• Comfortable working independently, while also able to take direction as needed
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required
