MAG, Manchester Airports Group, is seeking a public affairs professional to support the delivery of the Public Affairs strategy and engage stakeholders across the North, Wales and Scotland. The role focuses on day-to-day external relations and key projects to enhance surface access and MAG’s growth within sustainability aims.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in political, public affairs or external relations.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong written skills and ability to gather and analyse data.
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Support the delivery of MAG Public Affairs strategy and stakeholder engagement across Manchester Airport’s catchment area (North, Wales and Scotland).
• Assist the Head of Corporate Affairs on day-to-day external relations activities and key projects.
• Contribute to initiatives such as improving surface access to the airport and promoting the airport’s role as the UK’s global gateway in the North.
• Support the airport’s growth ambitions within the context of the sustainability agenda.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders in politics, business and local government.
• Keep senior leaders informed of key policy developments and their relevance to MAG.
