Job summary

Lansons Communications LLP is seeking a new team member for their Public Affairs team, ideally at Account Executive, Senior Account Executive, or Account Manager level, depending on experience. The successful candidate will support public affairs programmes, draft essential materials, and engage with stakeholders while collaborating closely with clients and colleagues to achieve successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in an agency, political, policy, government, communications or related environment.
• For junior candidates, around 6–12 months of relevant experience; evidence of managing client activity for more experienced hires.
• A strong interest in politics, policy and public decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support public affairs and communications programmes across multiple clients.
• Monitor political, regulatory and media developments for clients.
• Draft written materials including briefings and consultation responses.
• Organise and support stakeholder engagement activity.
• Work closely with colleagues and clients to keep programmes on track.
• Contribute ideas to campaigns and policy positioning.
