Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Team Leader to guide a busy shift, ensure high standards, and keep customers happy. You’ll support the management team, coordinate the crew, and uphold bar safety and compliance with allergen controls.

The role rewards a strong team player with a keen eye for detail, and a proactive attitude to manage challenges during peak times and deliver consistently warm welcomes.

Qualifications

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to ensure shift efficiency and service standards.
• Support managers in smooth handovers and issue resolution during busy periods.
• Coordinate staff rosters and tasks to maintain flow and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain safety, legal compliance, and cleanliness of the bar area.
