Haven at Devon Cliffs Holiday Park in Exmouth is hiring a Pub Shift Leader to guide JD Wetherspoon shifts, ensuring smooth operations and top guest service. You’ll lead the team, monitor food quality, and uphold safety and hygiene standards while delivering a warm, welcoming experience.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Training is provided, with opportunities for career progression and staff discounts across Haven services.

Qualifications

• Experience as hospitality Shift Leader, Team Leader or Supervisor in a restaurant, bar, pub or similar environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Detail-oriented, especially when handling food orders.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team by assigning tasks and managing workflow.
• Provide prompt, professional guest service and address complaints.
• Oversee food preparation ensuring quality and compliance with standards.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and cleanliness regulations are followed.
• Assist in training new team members on policies and procedures.
• Occasionally act as shift leader when required.
