Job summary

Village Hotels - Basingstoke - Pub & Grill is looking for a Pub & Grill Team Leader to act as the operational right hand to the Manager. You will lead the shift, champion social media, and keep the team focused on hospitality and commercial targets.

You will oversee floor leadership, drive GP and stock controls, coach staff, and contribute to a busy, high-energy F&B operation within the hotel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• The Floor Leadership: Run the shift with high-energy pre-shift briefings; act as part of the Duty Management Team and support across F&B.
• The Commercial Drive: Optimise drinks GP, manage stock to par levels, authorise voids safely, and help control wage costs to protect EBITDA.
• The Local Buzz: Champion local social media; build a content calendar and push the team to deliver top-tier service to target TripAdvisor ranking.
• The People: Coach the team on the floor; train new starters and model behaviours that create a brilliant environment for staff and guests.
