Job summary

Village Hotels - Swindon is seeking a Pub and Grill Assistant Manager to own the shift, lead the floor, and drive our local marketing across all Food & Beverage areas. You will champion the strategy on the floor and translate it into day-to-day action with energy and ownership.

You will coach the team, support recruitment of high performers, manage costs and stock, protect profitability, and deliver great guest experiences in a busy, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• The Operational Lead: Running the floor as a Duty Manager and leading the Pub & Grill while supporting wider F&B areas.
• The Commercial Control: Monitor wage costs and stock levels; authorise voids and refunds and drive drinks with highest GP to support EBITDA.
• The Local Buzz: Act as social media champion, drive outreach for events, and push the team to deliver top service.
• The People Development: Coach the team, assist in recruiting high performers, and foster product knowledge and growth.
