The Inn Collection Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager for The Wateredge Inn in Ambleside. You will oversee daily maintenance operations, lead a team, and ensure safe, high-standard facilities for guests in a lakeside setting.

Role requires NVQ or equivalent qualification, strong leadership, and a good grasp of Health & Safety. The group offers award-winning hospitality and various employee benefits across inns.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance management and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety compliance.

Responsabilités

• Daily checks on boilers, electrical systems, fire safety equipment, and exterior areas (roofs/gutters/walkways).
• Oversee planned maintenance projects (painting/grouting); respond to unplanned repairs; maintain gardens and outdoor spaces.
• Lead maintenance team: plan workloads, delegate tasks, provide tools and training; ensure high safety and standards.
• Be first point of contact for emergencies; manage seven-day maintenance coverage; log all jobs.
