Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking an experienced Permit to Work Coordinator to join its established construction team for a major UK project. You will administer and coordinate the site-wide PTW system to minimise risk, especially during SIMOPS.

You will lead PTW training, chair daily PTW/SIMOPS meetings, support contractors, and ensure timely, accurate permit documentation and reporting to the HSE team.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• Experience managing Permit to Work systems in large-scale EPC/EPCM projects.
• CSCS certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with risk assessment and TBRA processes.
• Strong understanding of SIMOPS and coordinating multiple concurrent activities.
• Excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical documentation.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administering and controlling the site-wide Permit to Work system.
• Maintaining an effective PTW procedure reflecting evolving project needs.
• Delivering PTW training to personnel involved in the permit process.
• Chairing daily PTW/SIMOPS meetings to review and approve permits.
• Guiding contractors and project personnel on permit requirements and documentation.
• Ensuring permits are issued, reviewed, authorised and closed per PTW procedure.
• Acting as a Permit Issuer and overseeing permit issue/return.
• Maintaining records of active, issued and closed permits.
