Teamforce Labour Limited is seeking an experienced PTS Groundworker with HSG47 for a long-term railway position, starting Monday 12th October. You will carry out general groundworks and civils duties within a rail environment and read service drawings.

You will work with site teams, follow RAMS and site procedures, and maintain safe working practices on site. Valid PTS and CSCS are required, with priority given to candidates with rail civils experience and underground services awareness.

Qualifications

• Valid PTS and CSCS are required.
• HSG47 / Safe Digging Around Underground Services knowledge is required.
• Groundworks/civils experience in rail sector preferred.
• Good understanding of underground services and safe excavation practices is essential.
• Dumper/Roller tickets are advantageous.
• Reliable with a strong health & safety focus.

Responsabilités

• Carry out general groundworks and civils duties within a rail environment.
• Undertake excavation and safe digging works around underground services in accordance with HSG47 safe digging practices.
• Assist with drainage, ducting, trenching, concreting and reinstatement works.
• Read and understand service drawings and identify underground services prior to excavation.
• Use hand tools and small plant safely and correctly.
• Assist with installation of drainage systems, ducts, chambers and civils works.
• Work closely with Site Supervisors, Machine Operators and other site team members.
• Follow RAMS, permits and site-specific procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Carry out additional general site duties as required.

Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out general groundworks and civils duties within a rail environment.
• Undertake excavation and safe digging works around underground services in accordance with HSG47 safe digging practices.
• Assist with drainage, ducting, trenching, concreting and reinstatement works.
• Read and understand service drawings and identify potential underground services prior to excavation.
• Use hand tools and small plant safely and correctly.
• Assist with the installation of drainage systems, ducts, chambers and associated civils works.
• Work closely with Site Supervisors, Machine Operators and other members of the site team.
• Follow RAMS, permits and site-specific procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Carry Out Additional General Site Duties As Required.Requirements

Requirements

• Valid PTS

• Previous groundworks/civils experience
• Previous Experience Working Within a Rail Environment Preferred
• Good understanding of underground services and safe excavation practices
• Additional plant tickets such as Dumper/Roller advantageous
• Reliable with a strong understanding of site health & safety
