Job summary

Accrington and Rossendale College is seeking a Part-Time Hourly Paid Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join a team of industry professionals. The role focuses on delivering electrical installation programmes, with opportunities across sites and travel if required.

The position involves teaching, planning, and developing resources, and may involve travel between campuses. A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to train is required, with industry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to undertake this.
• Strong industry experience would be an advantage and could be considered in place of a degree-level qualification.
• Successful teaching experience (ideally on Pearson BTEC) with a background in delivery of Level 3 RQF subjects would be advantageous.
• Degree-level qualification or appropriate professional qualification (or equivalent level of experience).

Responsibilities

• Teaching on a range of programmes, delivering effective learning for students in the Electrical Installation department.
• Planning and preparing high-quality teaching and learning.
• Developing and sharing resources for the course/subject.
• Completing required assessments in relation to student assignments.
