Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a Psychology Teacher for a full-time role in Stafford. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Psychology lessons to KS4/KS5, plan sessions, teach theories and research methods, and foster evidence-based discussion.

You will assess progress, differentiate for diverse learners, prepare students for GCSE/A-Level examinations, and collaborate with colleagues to share resources.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Psychology.
• Ability to explain complex theories clearly.
• Effective classroom management and communication.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
• Enthusiasm for helping students understand human behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Psychology lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Teach psychological theories, research methods and key studies.
• Encourage critical analysis and evidence-based discussion.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Differentiate lessons to support varying abilities and learning needs.
