Job summary

The University of Liverpool is seeking a Grade 5 Psychology Technician to support the Department of Psychology laboratories. You will deliver high-quality technical support, assist staff and students in research projects, and work with initiative to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

We require a BTec Higher or equivalent in a relevant subject, and the role is full-time (35 hours per week) with a salary in line with the pay band (£29,588–£33,951). Closing date 19 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Technical and administrative duties within university laboratories.
• Support staff and students in research projects and routine operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide robust technical and administrative support in Psychology labs.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist researchers and students in experiments.
