Psychology Graduates – Make a Difference Today!

Location:Stone and Staffordshire area
Position:SEN & SEMH Teaching Assistant
Minimum Pay Rate:£103.13 per day
Hours:Full time and long term

Starte date: ASAP

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students and staff
  • Prior experience in education or support roles (preferred but not essential)
  • Dedication to promoting inclusivity and well-being
  • Enhanced DBS check (we’ll help you obtain this)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Help implement personalized learning plans
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
  • Assist students in developing social skills and emotional resilience
  • Work alongside teachers and staff to monitor student progress
  • Encourage and motivate students to reach their potential
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities

To Be Eligible for This Role Through Teaching Personnel, You Must:

  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Provide two professional references covering the last two years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
