Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - Primary School
Location: Nottingham
Job Type: Full-Time Term-Time Only
Salary: £88.94 to £100 per day

Are you a Psychology graduate with a passion for child development and education? Looking to gain hands-on classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching, educational psychology, or child mental health?

We are seeking enthusiastic and caring Psychology graduates to register with us to support local Primary schools in and around Nottinghamshire.

This role offers flexible working options, full or part-time, with working hours from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

The Role:

• Support pupils in the classroom, including 1:1 and small group interventions
• Assist children with additional needs (SEN) and behavioural challenges
• Collaborate with class teachers and SENCOs to support learning and development
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Observe and report on pupil progress and wellbeing

About You:

• A recent Psychology graduate or final year student
• Interested in education, child psychology, or SEN
• Patient, empathetic, and confident working with children aged 4-11
• Strong communication skills and a team player
• Previous experience with children (volunteering, tutoring, youth work) is desirable but not essential
