Qualified Teaching Assistant Needed in Worksop

Schools across Worksop, Nottinghamshire, and surrounding areas are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Teaching Assistants to help children excel and create a positive, supportive learning environment.

Working as a Qualified Teaching Assistant in Worksop involves:

1. Working hours between 8:30am to 3:30pm.
2. Providing tailored support to children on a 1:1 and group basis.
3. Using creative and engaging ideas to enhance learning outcomes.
4. Demonstrating knowledge of the EYFS, KS1, or KS2 curriculum.
5. Upholding safeguarding policies to ensure student safety.
6. Supporting behavior policies to maintain a positive environment.
7. Participating in training and development opportunities.
8. Gaining experience across various schools in the area.
9. Demonstrating dedication to education and training.

Pay rate: £89.00 to £95.00 per day (including holiday pay, depending on experience and qualifications).

Requirements to become a Qualified Teaching Assistant with Academics include:

1. Prior experience supporting children in primary schools (ideally 6 months or more).
2. A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
3. A valid enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
4. A proactive, positive attitude.

6. Commitment to ongoing training and development.
7. Ability to travel to schools in Worksop.
8. Willingness to undertake relevant education and training courses.
