Job summary

Protocol Education in Wakefield is recruiting Psychology graduates to support children and young people in specialist schools and alternative provision settings. You will help pupils who need extra guidance to reach their potential in education, with a rewarding and varied day.

No school-based experience? That's okay. We'll train you with CPD, Thrive, and ongoing support from an experienced consultant while you develop a career in SEND and mental health support.

Qualifications

• A Psychology degree or be due to graduate shortly.
• Patient, resilient and empathetic approach.
• Genuine interest in understanding behaviour and supporting young people.
• Willingness to learn, develop and make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Building positive and meaningful relationships with pupils through patience, consistency and trust.
• Supporting children with SEMH, SEND and additional learning needs.
• Encouraging emotional wellbeing, confidence and engagement within the classroom.
• Working closely with experienced education professionals to provide a safe and supportive learning environment.
