Salary: Up to £550 per week
Start Date: ASAP (potential to become permanent from September)

A warm and inclusive primary school in Stoke-on-Trent is looking for a dedicated Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time, term-time role offers an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate to gain meaningful, practical experience in a supportive educational setting.
The position is available for an immediate start, with the potential to become a permanent role from September.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: Up to £550 per week
Contract: Until the end of the academic year (with potential to go permanent)
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Start Date: ASAP
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and emotional regulation needs
Assist in implementing personalised learning strategies and behaviour plans
Work alongside educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, and other external specialists
Support students’ social and emotional development in a nurturing, structured environment
Gain valuable, practical experience aligned with future training or postgraduate study in psychology, SEN, or therapy
A recent Psychology graduate (2:1 or higher preferred)
Genuinely passionate about supporting children with SEN and their wider development
Patient, empathetic, and confident in building positive relationships
Experience in education, care, youth work, or similar roles is desirable but not essential
