Job summary

Pertemps Education Network in London is seeking a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lambeth. This full-time, term-time only role offers hands-on experience supporting children's development, behaviour and learning within an educational setting.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, assist with differentiated learning activities, and help pupils progress in communication, confidence and social skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to primary-aged pupils across the classroom.
• Support children's learning, confidence, communication and social development.
• Assist the class teacher with delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.
• Help identify barriers to learning and encourage positive learning behaviours.
• Support pupils who may require additional help with emotional regulation, concentration and engagement.
• Develop positive relationships with pupils, encouraging independence and self-confidence.
• Support children with additional learning needs, including Autism, ADHD and speech and language difficulties where required.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to support pupils' individual needs.
