Job summary

KPI-Recruiting-Ltd is recruiting for a Psychology Graduate Learning Support Assistant in Walthamstow, E17 to work at a secondary school.

The role involves providing 1:1 and small-group support, assisting with learners with additional needs, and helping students build confidence and independence under the guidance of teachers and the SEN team. DBS required; full-time, Monday–Friday.

Salary is £110–£150 per day, with an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an educational setting.

Qualifications

• Psychology degree, ideally 2:1 or above.
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Commitment to supporting young people in educational settings.

Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain valuable experience working with young people and develop a career within education?

We are currently recruiting for a Psychology Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Walthamstow, E17.

The role:

• Supporting students across the secondary school
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting students with additional learning needs
• Helping students develop confidence, independence and engagement
• Working alongside teachers and the SEN team
• Using your Psychology knowledge to understand and support students' individual needs
• Assisting with classroom activities and behaviour support

The ideal candidate:

• Psychology degree, ideally 2:1 or above
• Passionate about supporting young people
• Confident, patient and approachable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Interested in pursuing a career in education, SEN, educational psychology or a related field
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential

DBS required – applicants without a DBS can be supported through the process.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to gain hands-on experience within a secondary school while working alongside experienced teaching and SEN professionals.
