Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. is seeking Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistants to support pupils with behavioural and mental health needs across Camden primary schools. You will work 1-to-1 with children aged 5–11, in classrooms and during mentoring sessions, helping them access learning with patience and empathy.

Training will be provided for interventions and approaches, and you will collaborate with the SENCO, senior staff, and external agencies to support SEMH and SEND needs daily.

Qualifications

• Psychology degree required.
• Experience in CAMHS / child mental health services.
• Passionate about supporting children with SEND / SEMH needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-to-1 support to pupils aged 5–11 with behavioural and mental health needs.
• Support learning in the classroom, during mentoring sessions and breaks as required.
• Collaborate with the SENCO, senior staff and external professionals to implement appropriate interventions.
