Job summary

This SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant role is based at a primary school in Balsall Heath, Birmingham. It is a full-time, temporary position starting immediately, running until July 2027, with a daily rate of £85–£102.

Qualifications

• Patience, empathy and clear communication with children and families.
• Experience in SEN/ SEND or care settings is beneficial.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS certificate if not held.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support to two EYFS pupils with significant physical and medical needs.
• Assist with mobility, personal care and communication.
• Monitor fatigue and adapt activities to promote learning and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and families to support participation in school life.
