Job description

Psychology and Sociology Teacher
Location: A school in Spalding
Salary: GBP31,650 - GBP49,084 per annum
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (until Easter 2026)

GSL Education Lincolnshire is looking to appoint an experienced or newly qualified Psychology and Sociology Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Spalding. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about the social sciences and eager to make an impact on students' understanding of the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Psychology and Sociology at KS4 and KS5

  • Develop schemes of work and resources tailored to student needs

  • Monitor and assess progress to ensure student success

  • Support and motivate students in their academic journey

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Subject specialism or degree in Psychology and/or Sociology

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for one through GSL Education Lincolnshire
