Cygnet Hospital Kidsgrove in Staffordshire is seeking an outstanding HCPC registered Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist for a part-time post (24 hours per week across 3 days). You will assess and treat clients with complex mental health needs within an MDT, under supervision, and contribute to audits and research.
The role offers strong career development, supervision, CPD support, and a DBS check. Applicants newly qualified within 6 months are welcome.

Cygnet Hospital Kidsgrove is our hospital for women in Staffordshire. There are two wards at the hospital; a 20 bed Acute service for women and an 11 bed Highly Specialised Personality Disorder Rehabilitation service. Crocus Ward provides a safe and stabilising environment for women who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission. Burleigh Ward provides specialised support for women with a personality disorder and other complex needs.
To support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within this service; providing psychological assessment and interventions under the supervision of a qualified psychologist, working independently according to a plan agreed your supervisor. To conduct audits, collection of statistics, and development of audit and research projects, teaching and project work.
Please note: successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
