Job summary
National Express Limited is seeking multi-skilled PCV technicians for our Acocks Green area. You will join the Engineering Team to manage maintenance, inspections and servicing of our vehicles, including electric and diesel fleets.
The role offers day, afternoon, and evening shifts with one weekend day, and ongoing development through our engineering training team. Ideal candidates hold IMI Level 3 Bus and Coach Engineering & Maintenance or equivalent, with a Full CAT D PCV licence or
Qualifications
- IMI Level 3 Bus and Coach Engineering & Maintenance or Equivalent (including Heavy Vehicles).
- Proven experience in a large vehicle maintenance environment (ideal).
- Full CAT D PCV licence or willingness to work towards (for road testing as required).
- Passion for continuous improvement and personal development.
- Flexibility to work different shift patterns as business requirements dictate.
- Own Basic Tool Kit.
Responsibilities
- Maintain vehicles through inspection, repair and general servicing.
- Diagnose faults and repair mechanical/electrical systems.
- Carry out accident repairs where needed and ensure vehicle safety checks.
- Work across various vehicle types, including electric and diesel buses/coaches.
