Job summary

Arriva Midlands Limited is seeking an experienced PSV Mechanic to service, maintain and repair PSV vehicles, diagnose faults, and prepare vehicles for MOT. The role includes shift work on a 5 out of 7 rota, evenings and weekends, with ongoing training including EV upskilling and PCV licence support.

Qualifications

• Servicing, maintenance and repair of PSV vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible with rotating shift pattern including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, and repair of PSV vehicles.
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding and diagnostics.
• MOT preparation and preventative maintenance inspections.
• Vehicle safety inspections and quality control checks.
• Roadside breakdown response and reactive repairs.
• Using modern diagnostic equipment and workshop technology.
• Shift work including earlies and lates (5 days out of 7).
