Job summary

Consult2Recruit is assisting a Doncaster-based family-run bus operator to recruit a PSV Technician on a permanent basis. You will maintain and repair their bus fleet, ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable, with a clear focus on high standards of maintenance.

The role involves routine servicing, diagnosing faults, inspections, and preparing vehicles for PSV/MOT testing, while aligning with health & safety and company standards. Permanent, with training and development opportunities.

PSV Technician - Doncaster

Up to £19.00 per hour | Monday to Friday | Overtime Available

Our client, a well-established family-run bus operator based in Doncaster, is looking for an experienced PSV Technician to join their growing engineering team on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced PSV/HGV Technician looking for a stable role with a company that genuinely invests in the development of its employees.

The Role

As a PSV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the company's bus fleet, ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable and maintained to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Carrying out inspections and safety checks
• Defect diagnosis and rectification
• Preparing vehicles for PSV/MOT testing
• Completing maintenance records and paperwork
• Working alongside an experienced engineering team
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and company standards

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday - 7:00am to 5:00pm
• 1-hour unpaid break
• Every other Saturday - overtime
• Additional overtime opportunities available

Salary & Benefits

• Up to £19.00 per hour, depending on experience
