Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking a PSV Technician to join our client’s dedicated Engineering team in Durham. This role covers the service, maintenance and repair of public service vehicles on a day shift, with overtime available.

You will inspect vehicles, prepare for MOT, and perform running defect corrections in a busy workshop environment. A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs and a valid driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs.
• Car Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• General service, maintenance and repair of public service vehicles
• Cope with the day-to-day pressures that a normal vehicle workshop brings
• Vehicle inspections
• MOT preparation / Presentation
• Correction of running defects

Salary: £38,150 - £43,700 per annum

Shift: Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Overtime: Available & Optional
