Job summary

A leading public transport company is seeking a PSV MOT Engineer for its Chester Depot. The role involves carrying out inspections and repairs on buses to ensure compliance with MOT standards. Candidates should have relevant mechanical engineering qualifications and experience in the PSV/HGV sector. Qualifications

• A recognised qualification or apprenticeship in PSV/HGV Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (and electrical if possible).
• Proven experience working on PSV or HGV vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence. Cat D (PCV) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections and repairs on a fleet of buses.
• Undertake Pre-MOT inspections to high maintenance standards.
• Maintain high standards of safety and documentation.
