Job summary

Arriva plc in Telford is seeking a PSV Mechanic/PCV Engineer to service and repair PSV vehicles, ensuring high safety and reliability standards within a modern fleet. Applicants should have Level 3 NVQ in PSV/HGV and relevant hands-on experience.

The role covers shift work (early/late/weekends) with a competitive benefits package and training opportunities, including PCV licence training if required.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in PSV, HGV, automotive or vehicle engineering.
• Experience as a PSV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Bus Engineer, or Vehicle Technician is required.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with knowledge of vehicle safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, and repair of PSV vehicles.
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding and diagnostics.
• MOT preparation and preventative maintenance inspections.
