Job summary

MASONS MINIBUS & COACH HIRE LTD in Long Marston, Herts is seeking an experienced PSV Mechanic to join our busy workshop. You will service, repair, and maintain PSV vehicles to high safety standards and prepare them for MOT and DVSA inspections.

We offer a competitive salary based on experience, a company pension scheme, and secure, long-term career with a well-established operator. Shift patterns: Early 05:00-15:00 or Late 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Previous experience working on buses, coaches, or other heavy vehicles.
• Good understanding of DVSA roadworthiness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on PSV vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults.
• Perform vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and DVSA inspections.
• Complete maintenance records accurately and efficiently.
• Work safely and maintain high workshop standards.
