As an Engineer, you’ll maintain and improve our fleet and infrastructure, ensuring vehicles remain safe, reliable, and fully operational for millions of passengers daily.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in PSV or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Experience as PSV Engineer or HGV Technician in a workshop or fleet environment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, manuals, and documentation.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on buses, PSVs, vehicles, and engineering equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Complete repairs, modifications, and upgrades in line with DVSA, safety, and engineering standards.
• Support fleet reliability through fault finding and technical problem solving.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals; maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Work collaboratively with workshop teams, supervising staff, and operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve vehicle reliability and workshop efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and apprentices where required.
