Job summary

Arriva Durham County Limited is seeking an experienced PSV Mechanic/Engineer to join our engineering teams across the North East. You will perform servicing, repairs and diagnostics to Arriva and DVSA standards, and contribute to safe, reliable bus services that connect communities every day.

This full-time, permanent role offers overtime opportunities, 24 days leave plus bank holidays, and pathways for career progression as you help deliver greener transport.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in PSV/HGV maintenance & repair (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence (6 points or less).
• Fit to pass a PCV pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance & repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
• Vehicle fault diagnostics & preventative maintenance.
• MOT prep & quality checks
• Attending roadside breakdowns
