Job summary

Arriva is seeking a PSV Mechanic/Engineer to service and maintain buses and coaches across North East locations, including Ashington, Blyth, Darlington, Durham, Redcar and Stockton. This is a full-time, permanent role with overtime opportunities.

You will work to Arriva and DVSA standards, perform diagnostics, MOT prep and roadside attendances, with clear career progression and training opportunities. A bus travel concession is provided for you and a nominated family member.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in PSV/HGV maintenance & repair.
• Full UK driving licence (6 points or less may be required).
• Fit to pass a PCV pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance & repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
• Vehicle fault diagnostics & preventative maintenance.
• MOT preparation & quality checks.
• Attending roadside breakdowns.
