Job summary

MCC Label in Daventry is hiring an Inspection Operative to inspect labels for defects, set up and monitor slitter and rewinder processes, and ensure accurate packing with documentation. The role emphasises precision, adherence to SOPs and quality standards, and contributing to daily KPI targets.

The position is full-time and permanent, offering on-site work with a focus on safety, detail, and teamwork within a supportive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect labels for defects with precision.

• Slice rolls using scissors, tape, or splicing tables per specs.
• Run jobs through slitting and rewinding processes.
• Pack finished jobs with proper documentation (COC, packing list, labels).
• Maintain rewinder.
• Set up and monitor 100% visual inspection systems.
• Follow all SOPs and quality standards.
• Hit daily KPIs' set by Inspection Lead.
