Job summary

MCC Label in Daventry, Northamptonshire, is seeking an Inspection Operative to join our production team. You will inspect labels for defects, set up slitters, run rewinding, and ensure documents accompany finished jobs. This role is full-time and permanent with a competitive salary.

You need warehouse experience, sharp attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset. We provide six weeks of training, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, product discounts, and weekly fruit.

Responsibilities

• Inspect labels for defects with precision.
• Set up and operate multiple slitter units.
• Slice rolls using scissors, tape, or splicing tables per specs.
• Run jobs through slitting and rewinding processes.
• Pack finished jobs with proper documentation (COC, packing list, labels).
• Maintain rewinder.
• Set up and monitor 100% visual inspection systems.
• Follow all SOPs and quality standards.
• Hit daily KPI’s set by Inspection Lead.
