Job summary

3 Dimensions School is seeking an inspiring PSHE & RSHE Lead to champion a curriculum that impacts the lives of children and young people with SEND. You will shape and deliver PSHE/RSHE to promote wellbeing, independence and safety, working with safeguarding, therapy and education teams across two sites.

The role involves leading curriculum development, delivering lessons, coaching staff and monitoring impact to ensure Preparation for Adulthood outcomes. UK applicants only.

Qualifications

  • Educated to Level 3 or above in Education, Health, Social Care, Psychology, Youth Work or a related field.
  • GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching PSHE and/or RSHE.
  • Experience working with children and young people with SEND.
  • Curriculum development or subject leadership experience.
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and RSHE requirements.
  • Knowledge of neurodiversity, EHCP outcomes and Preparation for Adulthood pathways.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and relationship‑building skills.
  • Driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the development, implementation and evaluation of PSHE and RSHE across the school.
  • Designing an engaging and accessible curriculum from KS1 to KS5.
  • Ensuring PSHE and RSHE supports safeguarding priorities, pupil wellbeing and Preparation for Adulthood outcomes.
  • Delivering high-quality lessons and modelling outstanding practice.
  • Supporting and coaching colleagues to build confidence in delivering sensitive and important topics.
  • Monitoring curriculum quality and impact through observations, learning walks and pupil voice activities.
  • Working collaboratively with safeguarding leaders, therapists, teachers and families.
  • Promoting a culture of inclusion, respect, wellbeing and positive relationships throughout the school.
