Job summary

Holyhead School is seeking a dedicated colleague to continue developing an innovative and progressive PSHE curriculum, backed by a vibrant programme of extracurricular and enrichment activities.

You will promote student understanding of key themes in their development and prepare them to contribute positively to wider society, while leading the development of learning-centred policies, schemes of work and assessment practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop an innovative and progressive PSHE curriculum, supported by a vibrant programme of extracurricular and enrichment activities.
• Promote student understanding of key themes and issues in their development at Holyhead in preparation for them contributing positively to wider society.
• Lead the development of high quality, learning centred policies, practices and schemes of work which: ensure continuity and progression for all students, meet the requirements of the National Curriculum, ensure assessment, recording and reporting improve student learning, behaviour and achievement, and plan, lead and evaluate an inspiring extra-curricular programme.
