Job Description:

My client is a leading professional services firm with several sites across the UK, looking for a new member for their prudential risk team to work across their 1st and 2nd line risk functions. You will cover aspects of market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk, playing a key role in rolling out their prudential risk framework and supporting clients along the way.

The role offers flexibility to work remotely but will require occasional visits to the London, Birmingham, or Manchester offices.

As the business grows, they aim to expand their Prudential risk team to maintain their strong position with some of the UK's largest financial services firms. The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Understand Prudential Regulations to write policies and ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
• Be ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified.
• Be comfortable working between the 1st and 2nd lines of defense.
• Have exposure to credit risk, liquidity risk, or operational risk frameworks, including ICAAP and ILAAP reporting.
• Build relationships with various business areas to ensure policies are correctly embedded.
• Work from the top down, collaborating with the C-suite, and with business users to implement policies.
• Challenge users to ensure policies are regularly adhered to.
