Job summary

Insight Select is seeking a Product Innovation Engineer in Whitstable for a permanent, hybrid role. The position focuses on prototyping and developing new products within an established engineering and manufacturing environment.

You will design and build prototype products, validate with the testing team, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet all requirements. Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks) and clear communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in prototype engineering and product development.
• Higher National Certificate or Degree in an Engineering field.
• Experience using SolidWorks or a similar 3D CAD software.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing prototype products.
• Work with the testing team to ensure products meet guidelines and amend prototype specs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure designs meet requirements.
• Present concepts and technical details to internal teams.
