Job summary

Insight Select in Whitstable is seeking a Product Innovation Engineer to design and develop prototype products and work closely with internal teams to ensure designs meet requirements. The role is permanent and hybrid, located in Whitstable.

You will collaborate with testing to amend prototype specs, investigate failed tests, and present concepts with clear technical details. The position offers progression opportunities and a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a product development or prototype engineering position.
• Higher National Certificate or Degree in an Engineering field.
• Experience using SolidWorks or a similar 3D CAD software.
• Background within manufacturing, engineering, or mechanical environments
• Good communication and presentation skills

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Innovation Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business. This role is ideal for someone with experience in prototype engineering experience and experience developing new products in an engineering space.

• Designing and developing prototype products
• Work with the testing team to ensure products meet guidelines and amending prototype specifications
