Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Protein Scientist to support technology transfer, development and siting of new GMP processes at Grangemouth. You will plan and perform experiments, record results and ensure procedures meet safety and quality standards.

Collaborating with PDev, ADev, QC and manufacturing, you will provide first-line technical support, contribute to data integrity and participate in on-the-job training for junior staff in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Plan and carry out experiments to support technology transfer and process development.
• Record laboratory results in official notebooks and prepare technical reports.
• Adhere to procedures to ensure safety and quality of work.
• Coordinate with PDev, ADev, QC and manufacturing to exchange data and results.
• Provide on-the-job training to new or inexperienced personnel.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory work to support GMP process development and tech transfer.
• Communicate results to project leads and clients as required.
• Maintain safety and quality standards following established protocols.
• Support first-time manufacturing operations and troubleshoot scaled-up processes.
• Maintain clean, organized lab spaces and ensure COSHH compliance.
