Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a QC Technician in Grangemouth to perform testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products in a cGMP environment. The role emphasizes data integrity, housekeeping and maintaining QC lab readiness.

You will support instrument calibration, document writing, and collaboration across departments. The position requires adherence to GMP and safety policies with a flexible approach to additional duties.

Qualifications

• Tests raw materials, in-process and final products per procedures and cGMP requirements.
• Maintains data integrity across records and reports.
• Ensures housekeeping and cleanliness of QC areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of raw materials and in-process samples per procedures and report results.
• Check and review data for accuracy and traceability.
• Conduct stability study programme activities and manage sample storage.
• Maintain stock of PPE, consumables and materials.
• Coordinate deliveries and dispatches to internal teams and external labs.
• Arrange subcontract QC testing and dispatches with approved suppliers.
• Assist in document writing (procedures, investigations, deviations).
• Keep lab areas and QC facilities clean and inspection-ready.
• Monitor and report storage unit temps; ensure defrosts and cleanup.
• Carry out equipment calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Contribute to audit readiness and continuous improvement.
• Maintain QC information systems and records.
• Be aware of GMP, safety and environmental policies.
• Be available to cover other departments as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested by QC Manager.
