We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Prosthetist to join our team at our Crystal Palace centre, based at Guy's & St Thomas' Regional Specialist Rehabilitation Centre, Bowley Close., Working alongside an experienced team and the NHS multidisciplinary team (MDT), you will deliver high-quality prosthetic care while also supporting the development of Prosthetic students in a collaborative and patient-focused environment., Delivers autonomous, patient-centred care, independently managing routine and moderately complex cases, and seeking guidance for more challenging situations. Applies sound clinical reasoning and experience across patient groups to ensure accurate device design, fitting, and adjustment using clinical and technical skills. Engages in continuous professional development through self-directed study, literature review and participation in relevant training. Contributes to audits, service evaluations and research activities with guidance as needed, supporting data collection and reflective learning. Manages clinical equipment and resources responsibly, with awareness of cost-effectiveness and service sustainability. Adheres to clinical prescription guidelines to ensure safe, effective and appropriate patient care. Effectively plans and prioritises caseload to meet service delivery targets, managing time and multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic clinical environment. Mentors less experienced staff, supports student and apprentice placements and actively participates in training and team learning. Maintains accurate clinical records and contributes to audits and quality improvement initiatives to support safe, effective and continuously evolving patient care. Maintains mandatory training, adheres to policies and procedures and works collaboratively within the team.
