Royal Devon is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner with urology/cancer experience to join our Urology and Prostate Cancer team. The post-holder will provide advanced clinical assessment, decision-making and management for men undergoing investigation, diagnosis and follow-up for prostate cancer.

Working autonomously within scope and in collaboration with MDT colleagues, you will support the diagnostic pathway, coordinate care, discuss treatment options, and contribute to audit, service

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical assessment, decision-making and management for patients with suspected or confirmed prostate cancer.
• Work autonomously within scope of practice within MDT.
• Support education and development of colleagues and learners.

Responsabilités

• Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and history taking.
• Support diagnostic pathway including PSA, MRI, biopsy results.
• Discuss diagnostic results and treatment options with patients.
• Coordinate and deliver MDT prostate cancer services.
• Support shared decision-making including active surveillance, surgery, radiotherapy, systemic therapies.
• Provide ongoing review and follow-up for prostate cancer patients.
• Escalate deterioration and manage complications.
• Contribute to clinical audits, service development and research.
• Support education and development of staff and learners.
