Job summary

Royal Museums Greenwich is seeking a Development Officer to join our fundraising team. You will identify new prospective donors, build a robust prospect pipeline, and manage RE NXT data to maximise income for core programming and major projects.

Reporting to the Senior Manager: Development Business Operations, you will collaborate across teams, ensure timely fundraising actions and maintain compliant data practices while supporting a dynamic heritage agenda.

Qualifications

• Strong research ability to identify prospective donors and assess fit.
• Excellent writing and communication skills for donor stewardship and proposals.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data and guide fundraising strategy.
• Experience with data management and CRM systems for donor records.
• Ability to build and manage prospect pipelines with timely actions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess new prospective donors to grow donor pool.
• Maintain and improve fundraising systems, processes and data.
• Train on and manage the fundraising database RE NXT; ensure data protection compliance.
• Support pipeline activity with research profiles and due diligence.
• Develop action-led prospect plans with clear deadlines and targets.
