Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a proactive professional to join the Customer Propositions team. You will help maintain and develop brand-defining propositions, ensuring customer needs are at the heart of every initiative, and delivering compelling reasons to join and stay with Nationwide.

You will work within the Customer Strategy team in GCC, contributing across the proposition lifecycle from ideation to delivery and roadmap evolution, with hybrid working and regular Swindon site attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience in proposition development, product management or related roles from design through to delivery.
• Understanding of the proposition lifecycle, including risk management and governance.
• Relationship building experience, including stakeholder management and collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing, and the confidence to work with and influence colleagues.
• Good planning and organisational skills and the ability to proactively manage your own work.
• Resilience and a readiness to persevere in the face of challenge.
• An attention to detail with the ability to present complex information in a factual and balanced way.
• A curious and creative mindset with a passion to innovate.

Responsibilities

• Identify proposition opportunities and review these to create a compelling case for delivery, drawing on internal and external insight and research.
• Work with colleagues from across Customer Strategy, GCC and other teams to generate ideas and solutions, gaining buy in and working together to bring propositions to life.
• Support and lead on work across the full proposition lifecycle from ideation through to delivery and beyond, including the management and improvement of existing propositions.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders across Nationwide to enable more joined-up thinking and evolve a Society-wide proposition development roadmap.
