Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking an Advice Proposition Consultant for a 6-month contract in Swindon, with hybrid work requiring 2-3 days on site. The role focuses on defining new advisor processes and understanding the regulatory backdrop, supporting systems, communications and contractual changes.

Qualifications

Advice Proposition Consultant - Regulatory & Process Change (Contract) Swindon (hybrid, 2-3 days on site) | 6 months

A large UK financial advice business is starting delivery of a major change programme across its adviser network. The board has approved implementation, and they need experienced advice specialists to help make it work in practice for advisers.

The role

Define new advice processes and the regulatory requirements behind them.

Work with the programme team on supporting systems, adviser communications and contractual changes.

Lead the rollout to advisers: explain what's changing and help them adopt it.

What you'll bring

Hands-on advice experience. Ideally you are a former adviser who has moved into proposition, process or regulatory work.

A background in wealth, mortgages or platforms.

A track record on large delivery or change programmes in financial services.

Regulatory knowledge you have actually applied, including FCA-facing work if possible.

Credibility with advisers.

The detail

Initial 6-month contract, Inside IR35.

Swindon-based, 2-3 days a week on site.

Immediate start preferred, but 4 weeks' notice can be accommodated.
