Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Swindon is seeking a Proposals & Project Engineer to deliver high-end automation and packaging projects, managing technical sales proposals and supporting project delivery. You will contribute to scoping turnkey solutions, define project objectives, and assist the Project Manager with integrated system layouts using 2D CAD and reviewing designs and schedules.

The role requires a technical degree (Degree/HND/HNC) in mechanical/technical STEM, with 2D CAD proficiency,

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in mechanical/technical STEM.
• Proficiency in 2D CAD; SOLIDWORKS preferred.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems.
• Experience in food or medical industries preferable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to scoping and definition of turnkey solutions.
• Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans.
• Assist and support the Project Manager with integrated system layouts using 2D CAD.
• Review designs, specifications, and schedules; recommend actions.
