Job summary

Omega in Swindon is seeking a Proposals & Project Engineer to deliver high-end projects in the UK, focusing on technical sales proposals and project delivery.

You will scope turnkey solutions, define customer requirements, and support the Project Manager with integrated layouts using 2D CAD; SAP/ERP experience is desirable. This is an onsite, permanent role with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or HNC in Technical/STEM preferred (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
• Proficiency in 2D CAD software and SOLIDWORKS preferable.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the scoping and definition of turnkey solutions, ensuring customer requirements are clearly defined, understood, and met.
• Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans and conferring with management.
• Assist and support the Project Manager in developing integrated system layouts using 2D CAD.
• Control project plans by reviewing designs, specifications, and schedule changes, and recommending actions.
